All I’ve ever wanted to do is create beautiful things that move others.

As a little boy, I drew pictures that were passed around the classroom. As a teenager, I penned love lyrics while plotting to set the world on fire with my electric guitar. These days, I tell stories (although I still want to be Keith Richards).

In addition to editing Reorient, an acclaimed arts review I founded in 2012, I’ve written for such publications as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Financial Times, The Economist, The Telegraph, Forbes, CNN, the BBC, GQ, and The Times Literary Supplement, been interviewed by ones like Newsweek, PRI, Monocle, The Art Newspaper, and the CBC, and seen my articles republished in a wide variety of languages.

Throughout my adventures in journalism, I’ve interviewed Ronnie Wood, John Malkovich, Paul Smith, Zandra Rhodes, Dries Van Noten, Kenzo Takada, Isabel Marant, Anna Sui, Johnny Marr, Salma Hayek, John Varvatos, and Terry O’Neill, amongst many other luminaries.

My articles aside, I’m the author of ten volumes of poetry, a translation of a classic of medieval Persian verse, a novella, a novel, and a collection of stories.

Education-wise, I hold a BBA from York University, an MSc in Management from City, University of London, and an MS in Strategic Communication from Columbia University. I’m also the recipient of an International Award for Art Criticism from London’s Royal College of Art.
